Shaka
canggu

We start our adventure in the beautiful laid back surfer town of Canggu. Home to a great surf break that's perfect for those catching their first waves, rice paddies as far as the eye can see and an amazing cafe scene, we bet you'll want to stay a while. Fear not, we'll also be coming back at the end of our trip!

Island
nusa islands

The ultimate adventure awaits, located just off the coast off Bali. We'll go exploring beautiful beaches, get on a boat to snorkel in the crystal clear water and sit back to admire some of the most incredible landscapes you'll ever see. The photo ops are endless.

Volcano
ijen

Here's an adventure you won't soon forget. We climb up to the rim of a massive volcanic crater with a sulfuric lake at it's heart. The (very) early morning will all be forgotten watching the sun rise and it is totally reasonable to think you've just landed on another planet.

Temple
ubud

Ubud, the art and cultural center of Bali is set back in the lush jungle and surrounded by countless waterfalls, making it a mandatory stop for any first-timers. Reconnect with nature, learn a traditional Balinese art and explore the bustling markets. Oh, and of course a visit to Ubud wouldn't be complete without an afternoon in a massive infinity pool surrounded by the jungle.

The most eye-opening part of our year and a half abroad was realizing the destruction we are causing to our planet. On many beaches we found monstrous amounts of trash lining the sand, we have swam in crystal clear oceans with dead coral lining the ocean bed and have had to fight away plastic bags while trying to relax in beautiful surroundings. Bali also has its fair share of environmental issues and the giant influx of tourists has certainly not been helping. That's why we aim to travel as responsibly and sustainably as possible and we encourage all participants in our expeditions to do the same. There are so many simple changes we can make to our everyday lives that truly have an impact. From avoiding single use plastics (bottles, straws, bags) to eating more local foods, picking up trash when you see it and helping educate people on the issues facing us today, we will be sharing our tips with you during our trips and even giving you a gift bag packed with sustainable goodies! Please come with an open mind, as Bali really needs our help on this issue.

We will also be donating 5% of profits to Bye Bye Plastic Bags (BBPB), a Bali-based, youth-powered NGO battling against Bali's plastic problem. BBPB focuses on education, policy and showing people possible solutions. We love everything they are about and think it's super important to encourage projects like theirs so that future generations can also come and enjoy everything this amazing island has to offer.
